1. So I bought this "Let's Work" 12" single (Prince, 1982) from Barely Brothers Records today. I don't think I've ever seen a copy in person in thirty years, yet there it was just over a mile from our house. And 10% off for the big sale!

2. Being able to plug a hole in the record collection is still one of the greatest feelings in the world.

3. About a billion times better feeling than plugging it with someone else's digital copy they threw out on the Internet.

4. When we packed to come here from Santa Clara, we filled over 30 boxes with vinyl - you've probably heard me tell you before how it's STILL in those boxes. Come July, it will have been 10 years that nobody, including us, has seen or heard any of those records or 12" singles. I simply must do everything in my power to make sure we don't get to July still in that situation.

5. Then after we unpack and shelve the records...we should think about hooking up the stereo and playing them!
