Made it home in one piece, where I discovered that I didn't put the umbrella in my backpack. Lucked out there, I guess. My six hours volunteering at Northern Spark turned into nine, but it was a blast and I got a very good stack of pancakes and sausage for it (and all the Salted Nut Rolls I could carry AND a case of Kind bars I'll probably get sick of very quickly and never finish). My phone says I took 21,000 steps (11 miles) which may explain why everything now hurts. Ow ow ow ow ow ow. I may also have a blister, but it's not very big. Lots of beautiful people at Northern Spark. You should join me and volunteer for the next one; it's in, like, 364 days. Now I have to have a debate about a long hot bath versus instantly going to sleep. Or perhaps sleeping in the long hot bath. I'll keep you posted. GOOD NIGHT
