| So as soon as we got into town, we hit the Costco for cheap lunch ($10.69 total for me, Kim and my parents - because I spare no expense!) and behind me, I hear "Hey, Chris!" so of course I reflexively say "HEYYYYYYYY" and ... I will blame jet lag, but the truth is I'm not actually sure who the dude was. Did I go to school with him? Was he a "Trek This Week" guy? Am I friends with him on Facebook? Did he know I'd just flown in from Minneapolis, or had he assumed I'd been in Modesto for over 20 yeras? Was he actually talking to someone else? I never found out. |
