Since I was a big deal in the "text" era of the Internet, no, nobody ever sent me nudes. Pretty sure I ended up marrying the only woman I ever sexually harrassed, but she might have a different story now that we're divorced.

I was always incredibly lucky that writing recaps was never my "primary" thing, even if it looked that way on the Internet - I always had a well-paying job that allowed me to pretty much call my own shots since nobody was paying me for it.

I believed then (AND now!) that it was only a combination of my attention to detail and my insane desire to turn things around overnight that made me so popular - practically any idiot with any decent writing ability could do what I did

...but they couldn't do it as quickly with that level of detail. (And yeah, occasionally I'd get a good zinger and/or gimmick I could run deep, deep into the ground.)

My last "full-time" recap was for RAW at the end of October, 2002. Think about that - SEVENTEEN YEARS AGO. Pretty sure the first SmackDown I didn't recap (airing later that week) was the one where John Cena dressed up as Vanilla Ice...and the rest was history (I didn't write).

Occasionally I'd come back here and there and do some stuff - I think I did 13 weeks of ECW and not sure how many weeks of Ring of Honor on HDNet - but time had passed me by and video made my old-style text recaps (which were NOT as timely) largely obsolete

I did do an entire season of "Jersey Shore" WITH screen caps and they may have been some of the finest writing I ever did which barely anybody read. Even if you read them now, the excruciating detail will make you think you've seen the episodes even if you haven't

PS Pretty sure all of my long-time close personal friends still doing the thing (@jmshapyro @thecubsfan/@luchablog @tapemachines) remain scandal-free, with the possible exception of @ryderfakin - oh and @OOWrestling, of course! So give them all a follow if you aren't already
