I'm so happy to announce that I have passed the audition and have now been added to the KFAI schedule! My show is called "Weekend on Demand" - new new music and YOUR requests every Saturday from 5PM to 7PM (Central)! My stretch goal is to have the most interactive show on the station...well, maybe second most interactive after "AM Drive" - built largely around playing as many requests as I can. With any luck, I'll be able to find order amongst the chaos of throwing it wide open to anybody ambitious enough to ask me to play something on the air, with a renewed push towards stuff you're just not gonna hear on any other radio station in the Cities - or possibly the universe. Failing that, I'll just try to play the new Jamie xx 7" mix before anybody else does. If you can't tune in or stream live, shows will be available on demand for 14 days after broadcast - in fact, you can still hear my tryout/pilot shows from the 4th and the 11th!
