| 17.6.21 21:49 |  |  | DOIN' THE DEW AND DOO DOO: It's been the talk of Facebook since I posted of its existence - what - WHAT - does this yellow pineapple lookin' Dew taste like? Now, if you know me, you know that I...have a strong, intense dislike for pineapple, so I wasn't gonna buy the 12 pack. I DID buy this 20oz bottle though - for YOU - because YOU, who surprisingly and incredibly care very much what I think of all these crazy varietals - YOU demand it of ME. (Or you're a known, vocal lover of all things pineapple like Rachel, to whom I dedicate this post.) And so, here we are. Seeing that coconut was right next to pineapple on the label made me feel like I wasn't outright burning the two bucks to buy it, so what the hell...
And you know what? It's.....OKAY. It's NOT BAD. I am NOT MAD AT IT. I am SURPRISED ENOUGH TO USE CAPITAL LETTERS. I THINK I'm still glad I didn't buy a 12 pack but it's still kinda Dew in its own way and the coconut takes a prominence that makes it a really interesting and thirst-quenching drink! It's also got almost as much sugar as a Liberty Brew (74g in this 20oz bottle) and a Dew-like level of caffeine (92mg) which made me screw the cap back on and put it back in the fridge for me to enjoy when I don't have to be awake and at KFAI in 8 hours.
VERDICT: It's not piña colada Dew...I don't know you can adequately categorize it except "yep, another Dew - they did it again, Cubbie" and leave it at that...that is, until the caffeine kicks in. HEYWOW
