 |  | A year ago, I jumped on a chance to host a live show on KFAI on Saturday, July 4th, and asked for your requests to help me seed the playlist. An exciting discussion ensued, attached to this status. The end product was a show I called "Friendsourced 4th" and it was just good enough to act as a backdoor pilot to keep me coming BACK to KFAI every Saturday since then presenting KFAI Weekend on Demand. This Sunday is ALSO July 4th, and I have the good fortune to announce that we'll be encoring this, my first weekend program, on KFAI's second stream at its original broadcast time of 3PM as well as again at 10PM to provide a soundtrack to your neighbours' fireworks display. KFAI.org/FA2 is the shortest link to hit up the stream. (I'll also be live on the air at 5PM Saturday per usual with even newer new music and even requestier requests!)

JUST IN: I will be putting on LIVE RADIO on the freshest of air (that is, KFAI) THIS Saturday, the 4th of July, from 3 to 5 PM CDT! I would LOVE to play YOUR request (so long as it suitable for air)! If you request it NOW, I will be WAY more likely to have it Saturday than if you call it in THEN! Offbeat, unusual, selections one usually does not hear on the radio will be greatly welcomed - although I can't speak for our listening audience, definitely by me!
