88 DAYS TO ELECTION DAY: Monopoly over! I am no longer the only declared Libertarian in the race. The other guy's run before (got about 3% in 2009 - not bad when Rybak got like 73%!) but four years later and he STILL has no website so other than his declared party affiliation, we know nothing about him. (This is not the worst political tactic, by the way, but it's one I am obviously avoiding.)

Now I'll have to decide if I want to suck up to the state party to get an endorsement, or not, let HIM suck up to the state party and get the endorsement OR they may decide to endorse nobody and just mention who's running (like they did in 2009).

I feel like none of these options would actually gain or lose me any votes no matter what happens, but ... an endorsement can't HURT. I probably shouldn't put more effort into getting the Pirate Party endorsement (SPOILER ALERT: I won't get it - a Pirate Party guy filed today as well) than I have been for the LP one......

We're up to 22 candidates and I think the papers are waiting for three or four more "top tier" candidates, so let's hope we can hit 30 by the end of the day on Tuesday.
