Well, it took me over 43 years, 1 raffle and 1 winning ticket which I didn't buy (some day I'll pay Amy back) but I have finally seen my first NFL game - in TCF Bank Stadium, no less! Their thermometer said 82 when we went in and 80 when we came out, but there was an occasional breeze and eventually shade so it was pretty much perfect for spectating as well as enjoying a very small amount of $8.75 beers. Joel and I saw nine touchdowns if I counted correctly, including Bridgewater's first rushing touchdown, which I captured on "film" with my camera. Vikings fans are fun people so even if I managed to go in neutral as planned, that only lasted about thirty seconds - my desire to see Hester run one back lost out to my desire to see all these people be able to celebrate a Vikings victory. And even though they tried to keep it interesting, they managed to not blow a 13 point lead in the last half like they would have done last year. Ponder has super handoff ability. Thursday I hope the Packers crush these dudes, but for tonight...SKOL VIKINGS!
