Amy always WAS more popular than me.
We were co-editors of the school paper but "working" during different periods of Mrs. Sundelin's Journalism class - I want to say she was in the sixth period Newspaper class while I was in the seventh period Yearbook class. This photo comes from the yearbook page; I really think I have the original SOMEWHERE, but other than my IDs, not a lot of junior high stuff has surfaced during my recent excavations, so I can't know for sure.
I have more than one embarrassing story about Amy - embarrassing to me, not to her - from my awkward years (which I define as "pretty much from 1983 onward"). Fortunately, I'm at work, so I don't have the time to elaborate. Circa end of 1984. |

 | Ah, I do love me a long jam. One of the prime directives of KZiM is "anything over 7 minutes is probably worth it" and this definitely qualifies. Biting Tongues were Graham Massey's pre-808 State band juuuuuuust before he discovered acid house. This song's original runtime also happened to be 8:08, but I couldn't tell you if that was intentional. Graham probably could. We should ask him some time.
