 | Following on Sneaker Pimps from yesterday, this is another late 1990s obsession for me, The Crystal Method. One of my favourite big-time "ravey" performances I saw during this era was their two guys and four light/strobe/laser things - they did so much with so little. It helped that I'd had an eye appointment earlier that morning and my pupils were still a little dilated, I'm sure. Not a bad time to schedule an eye appointment. This video came later and was another "AMP" staple...I really like it, too. Have a great weekend!

| First time I heard Sneaker Pimps was a late night record buying session after work at the Tower Records in the most south part of San Jose (or maybe it was in Campbell) - this track was playing and I bought "Becoming X" on my way out. I got a little too into them, to the point where I obsessively collected all their unreleased stuff, much of which was probably left unreleased for a reason yet still was all over the Internet. Still got 'em. Also have a lot of weird 12" singles and even a 10" single. ANYWAY. This was the first and you never forget your first.
