Minneapolis will start ranking 'em out at 9. Mayor, Ward 5, Parks At-Large, District 1, 4, 5 and BET. Not sure in what order.
Unfortunately, they're only posting results on their website and Twitter.

Minneapolis says if Frey picks up 12,512 votes, he wins outright.
If Fateh picks up 27,342 votes, he wins outright.
After Round 1, Fateh (46,510 votes) trails Frey (61,340) by 14,830 votes.

| Minneapolis says we DO need to go to a Round 2 to decide BET. For the life of me I don't see how EHB and Brandt don't end up the two winners but they didn't pass the threshold to NOT have RCV so we'll go through the motions some time Wednesday.

| Over in St Paul, they went ahead and ran Round 2 of ranked choice voting tonight so we already know Mayor Melvin Carter has been defeated by Kaohly Her. Carter received more #1 rankings but Her overtook Carter in Round 2.
Could something similar happen in Minneapolis? We'll have to sleep on it. |
