They have to go to R2 and see if and who the 88 undeclared write-ins ranked #2, even with no way Miller (-3,057) can overtake him. |

Minneapolis says if Frey picks up 12,512 votes, he wins outright.
If Fateh picks up 27,342 votes, he wins outright.
After Round 1, Fateh (46,510 votes) trails Frey (61,340) by 14,830 votes.

| Over in St Paul, they went ahead and ran Round 2 of ranked choice voting tonight so we already know Mayor Melvin Carter has been defeated by Kaohly Her. Carter received more #1 rankings but Her overtook Carter in Round 2.
Could something similar happen in Minneapolis? We'll have to sleep on it. |
