Graph edition: adding pattern filter

Hi,

I am managing devices with thousands of interfaces (10'794 for the biggest one) and assigning right data source to graph entries takes me a huge amount of time.
I would like to add in graphs.php?action=graph_edit a new optional field which will contain the key pattern for my fields.

For an example I need to find all data related to "Cable2/1/8" (of course I need the / separator).
I would like to have the possibility to add this after the edit graph view is generated (by default with empty search restriction pattern) and so get only the needed data sources.

Can someone tell me which file I must update accordingly or help me doing it ?

I am using Cacti 1.1.37 on CentOS

And another possible enhancement will be to limit Data_Sources to the same kind of Data_sources that are defined on the graph template.
Opening a graph for edition takes several seconds (the full HMTL page with is 6MB). It was faster with Cacti 0.8.8.

Can you provide screenshots to go with what your suggesting to give a visual understanding of where you'd like this? I suspect that you have probably tweak some settings to display more rows and that is what is actually slowing down your page but I am curious to see what your suggesting.

In the same way, if I only try to download the generated HTML file, it tooks either a long time. Maybe some scripts are slowing down response time.
